One of Paris’ best known and most revered landmarks is the birthplace of Hannibal Hamlin, our “local boy who done good” – he was Vice President under Abraham Lincoln, 1860-1864. This photo is from 1909 and it shows the place encircled by a Victorian wrap-around porch.
